The Iveco Stralis 6x2 was a new build and design for a ceramic tile hauler. The company would be transporting heavy pallets of tiles, making it essential for the body to be resilient to heavy point loadings. The truck body was constructed from 17mm GRP incorporating Whiting Wide Slat Shutters and a Dhollandia 2 Ton Cantilever Tailift. |

Aluminium angles act as supporting struts from the runner to the cross bearers, providing extra strength required whilst transporting pallets weighing up to 2 tons each. The floor consists of 30mm Birchwood covered with aluminium checker plate including a kick strip. |

For many years we have been supplying vehicles to Cannon Hygiene, as the photos show a few examples we have built and designed, including chassis cabs, curtain siders and combo vans. Also on a regular basis we produce many Vauxhall Approved platform conversions, incorporating a low floor for easy access; the internal floor consits of a non-slip, washable surface which is known as Line X. |
